VECINOS RUIDOSOS. Dos amigos, Mary y Rich, conversan acerca de un problema que Rich tiene con sus vecinos del apartamento lindero. Otra conversación para que practiques inglés en forma entretenida. En el texto hemos resaltado las palabras y expresiones que se detallan en un glosario bilingüe.

Mary: Rich, you look exhausted! Rich: I know. I didn't get much sleep last night. Mary: What happened? Rich: Remember those guys I told you about? Mary: The ones that just moved in next door? Rich: Yeah. They had another party, and the noise kept me awake all night. Mary: Well, something has got to be done. This has happened every weekend since they moved in! Rich: Yeah. Tell me about it. I finally had to call the police. Mary: I would have done the same thing. They shouldn't be allowed to disturb people like that. And anyway, they should have at least invited you to the party! GLOSSARY: exhausted = tired out: agotado; I didn't get much sleep: no dormí bien; the ones that: esos (muchachos) que; next door: el apartamento de al lado; kept me awake: me mantuvo despierto; tell me about it: dímelo justo a mí, si lo sabré yo; like that: de ese modo; they should have at least invited you: al menos deberían haberte invitado.
